R/C flying in late October

This is usually the worst time of the year for R/C flying here in Sweden. Rainy and windy weather is the norm, and this Autumn has been no exception. Still, there have been a few really good opportunities. The latest one was this Monday afternoon. Broken clouds, later replaced by a high overcast and 2 knot winds is all you can ask for as an R/C pilot this time of the year.

Left work early and drove the short distance to the airfield. Managed to get a full five fllights with three different models and more than an hour in the air before dusk. Dusk comes early. Shortly after five o’cklock it was getting increasingly difficult to see the model in the air, so it was time to call it a day.
