Video on YouTube showing a Douglas DC-3 belonging to the Danish Dakota Friends. Wonderful airplane!
Following the southern shore of the Varanger fjord. On the left hand side FSCommander which I used as a reference for navigation and IVAP TCAS display are visible.
Still revisiting FS2004 I wanted to fly another favorite – the SAAB Safir by Sibwings. I chose to do a long VFR navigation flight departing Honningsvåg south following Porsangen to Lakselv. From Lakselv I followed the roads Varangerbotn and from there I took the “water way” to Kirkenes. 1 hour and 48 minutes online on IVAO. Flying manually all the way as the Safir has no autopilot.
Passing north of Västerås inbound for Arlanda on the ELTOK 1N STAR.
One of my favorite routes have always been SK904 from Newark to Stockholm/Arlanda. Revisiting FS2004 I have flown it once more now. 7 hours and 27 minutes block time with the Airbus A330-300 from Phoenix Simulation Software.
Some GA flying for a change. A seaplane mission around southern Alaska with the Virtual Pilots Association. I chose the beatiful Cessna 206 amphibian made by Carenado. I also revisited FS2004 just for fun. With ActiveSky 6.5, Ground Environment Pro and Ultimate Terrain even old FS2004 looks pretty good!
My first around the wourld tour in FSX is now completed. The final leg was 7 hours and 30 minutes from Toronto to Gothenburg.
Early morning at 37000 feet northwest of Cincinnati in the Level-D 767.
Finishing up my first around the world tour in FSX. After flying from Anchorage, Alaska to Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas I continued to Toronto. Next leg after that will be back to the Scandinavian Virtual Airlines Cargo hub at Gothenburg/Landvetter.
The midnight sun at 00:34 local time enroute from Barrow to Kotzebue, Alaska
Continuing the Alaskan Adventure Charter with the DC-3. Currently about half way at leg 11 of 23.
A beautiful early morning in British Columbia.
Three more legs in the DC-3 flying the Alaskan Adventure today. All in all, almost five hours in the air. Parked the DC-3 in Northway, Alaska.
The MAAM-SIM DC-3 enroute from Williams Lake to Dawson Creek, British Columbia. The airport in the background is Prince George.
Today I continued the Alaskan Adventure charter with DC-3 Airways. The charter consists of 23 legs beginning at Boeing Field in Seattle, Washington and then taking you North through parts of Canada and Alaska. It is one of my favorite places to fly.
